HAWKs Crescenta Valley

Description

Hawks (Hiking Adventures With Kids) runs outdoor day camps and after-school programs for ages 5-12 in the Crescenta Valley and Montrose area. Explorers discover chaparral canyons, oak-shaded creek corridors, and native wildlife like California scrub jays, western fence lizards, and coast live oaks at green spaces like Deukmejian Wilderness Park and trails in the Verdugo Mountains. Guided by WFA and CPR-certified naturalist educators in small groups (1:7 ratio), they learn trail safety, Leave No Trace principles, and genuine curiosity about the outdoors. Year-round programming includes summer day camps, after-school sessions, and school breaks. Day camps offer direct drop-off or transportation; transportation provided for after-school programs.
